HOEHENKONTROLLE was founded 2008 by Achim Friederich as an open

sideproject to his involvements with END OF SILENCE, ITEM and 7 MON.

HK # 0 is for solo-performance and HK # 1 (cont.) for duos with

changing musicians and instruments.

The reduced form is to fill or to let space with only one or two „voices“.

Performances :

2008 – HK # 1 – Düsseldorf/Germany (+ Matthias Weigand)

2012 – HK # 1 – Ljubljana/Slovenia (+ Matthias Weigand)

2013 – HK # 2 – Koblenz/Germany (+ Martin Gutjahr)

HK # 0 and HK # 3 with Neven M. Agalma will be introduced at the Noisefestival

in Trbovlje/Slovenia (2016).

Crank Sturgeon je neklasičen nojz umetnik, ki je znan po svojih interaktivnih performansih in deluje že od leta 1990. Uporablja doma narejene instrumente/zvočila, ki jih sam ozvočuje preko kontaktnih mikrofonov, ki jih prav tako sam izdeluje, in v svoje performanse vnaša dobršno mero komičnosti s svojimi poetičnimi vložki, spontano improvizacijo ter komunikacijo z občinstvom in nenazadnje tudi z izdelavo čudnih mask in drugače ne/uporabnih materialov (plastičnih cevi, balonov, selotejpa, žic itd.) ki jih inkorporira v svoje performativne zvočne abstrakcije.
